I lived in Athens from almost 25 years. From my teenage years, as a University student and then as a young professional. I did it all… and really had fun!

Recently I moved abroad but always have Athens and Greece in my heart.

I didn’t really appreciate Athens much when I lived there, yes, it was amazingly fun, but I realized what a great city it is when I moved elsewhere and started to compare.

I came to really appreciate all the great stuff that this city has to offer. It has it all! Anything you can desire, you will find it in Athens. They say that New York is the city that never sleeps, well, Athens doesn’t sleep much either.

The worst is that not many people are aware of this. Many tourists that visit Greece only stay in Athens a few hours, maybe one day, but not more than that. The reason? They don’t believe Athens has much to offer apart from the Acropolis. They are so wrong!

This is why I decided to create this website, with the hope that I will help individuals planning to visit Greece, stay in Athens a few days longer.

I am no expert, nor do I claim I know everything, but having lived there the best years of someone’s life, I truly believe that I know what I’m talking about.

Athens is the hidden secret of Europe, and it’s a pity if you travel all the way to Greece and don’t get to see it!
